Chickpea and Kale mash


A nice alternative to potatoes.  This can be made for a main dish or side. This reciepe serves 2 as a main


Himalayan salt to taste

Virgin olive oil 2tbsp

Kale one bunch

Shallot chopped into small pieces

Garlic 3 tbsp chopped

Thyme 1/2 tsp

Chickpeas 400g (cooked as directed

Fry oil, garlic ans shallot until turns brown

Add Kale and cook till kale wilted then add the chickpeas and cook for 5 minutes

Stir in all the other ingredient and then serve

They can be mashed or left whole. The choice is yours
